Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis agg.)
An annual with toothed leaves. Petals are white to purple, usually with darker veins and a yellow blotch on the lower lip. A very variable group with up to 60 hybrids, commonly found in unimproved hay meadows. Herbalists used tinctures made from Eyebright for eye disorders.
